Seward County Title VI and ADA

Title VI: Policy of Nondiscrimination 

The County of Seward County, Nebraska hereby gives public notice that it is the policy of Seward County to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any Federal Aid Highway program or other activity for which Seward County, Nebraska receives Federal financial assistance.

  • Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with Seward County, Title VI Coordinator by calling (402) 643-2796.

  • Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with Seward County’s Title VI Coordinator within one hundred, eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.

Title VI: Seward County Public Transportation

Seward County Public Transportation operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

  • Any person who feels they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint of discrimination by completing and submitting the agency’s Title VI Discrimination Complaint Form.

  • Seward County Public Transit opera sus programas y servicios sin tomar en cuenta raza, color, u origen nacional de conformidad con el Título VI del Acta de Derechos Civiles. Cualquier persona que cree que ha sido agraviada por cualquier práctica discriminatoria ilegal bajo el Título VI puede presentar una queja de discriminación por completar y enviar el Formulario de Queja de Discriminación de Título VI de la agencia.
